When your child is in treatment and cooking feels impossible, FreeMeals is here to help. This California nonprofit provides free groceries for a week and hot allergy friendly meals to families in need including those who are sick or immunocompromised.
If your child is going through chemo or treatment and your family is struggling to put food on the table this program was built for moments exactly like yours.What your family gets is real and practical. They deliver nutritious groceries to cover a week plus hot meals tailored to dietary restrictions and allergies.
Everything is completely free and 100% of donations go directly toward purchasing food. The program is run entirely by volunteers.To qualify your family needs to be a California resident and be in need of food assistance.
Sick and immunocompromised individuals are a specific focus of this program so childhood cancer families fit squarely within who they serve.
