By the Bay Camp creates magical camp experiences specifically for kids battling cancer and other serious illnesses. The camp brings together children facing similar health challenges in a safe, medically-supervised environment where they can just be kids.

What makes this camp special is that they design everything around the unique needs of seriously ill children. The staff includes medical professionals who understand your child's condition, medications, and limitations. They know how to handle feeding tubes, port access, and all the medical realities that come with childhood cancer. But more importantly, they know how to help your child forget about being a patient for a while.

The camp offers traditional camp activities adapted for children with health challenges - arts and crafts, games, swimming if medically appropriate, and plenty of opportunities to build friendships with other brave kids. Many parents tell us their children come home with a renewed sense of confidence and joy they hadn't seen since before diagnosis.
