The B+ Foundation provides direct financial assistance to families with children under 21 who have been diagnosed with cancer. They help pay for expenses directly related to your child's cancer diagnosis that are creating financial strain while you focus on helping your child get well.
They cover prescription medications that insurance won't pay for, travel costs to get to treatments, mortgage payments and rent when you can't work, and other cancer-related expenses. The foundation pays creditors directly, so the money goes straight to the bills you need help with. You can receive assistance once per year, up to two times total.
To apply, you'll need to work with your hospital social worker who helps complete part of the application. They review applications every Friday and serve families receiving treatment at any US hospital.
