Carson's Crusaders Foundation provides direct financial assistance to children with solid tumor cancers and their families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They work closely with three major local hospitals to help families cover the costs of cancer treatment including gas cards, parking vouchers, and other essential expenses during treatment.
The foundation has funded over 69,000 trips to the hospital for life-saving cancer treatments and distributed over $1.4 million in direct assistance to families. They also run a Sibling Support program called Superstars to help brothers and sisters of cancer patients, plus transportation assistance and scholarship programs. Their focus is specifically on solid tumor pediatric cancers, providing practical support to help families navigate the financial challenges of childhood cancer treatment.
