Adam's Angels Ministry

Adam's Angels Ministry helps families in Texas who are dealing with childhood cancer by taking care of the bills that pile up when your kid is sick. When your child gets diagnosed with cancer, everything stops. Someone usually has to quit their job to manage the appointments and treatments. The medical bills start coming. Rent is still due. The car payment doesn't stop. And you're supposed to focus on your kid getting better while all of this is crashing down around you.

That's exactly what Adam's Angels understands. They provide direct financial assistance to help cover rent or mortgage payments, car payments, utilities, phone bills, food, and gas to get to and from treatment. This isn't a loan you have to pay back. It's help when you need it most so you can actually focus on what matters, which is your child.

They serve families in eight Texas counties around the Houston and Austin areas including Washington, Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Fayette, Grimes, Lee, and Waller counties. Your child needs to be between 0 and 20 years old and either currently receiving treatment or recently finished treatment. Families who have recently lost a child to cancer are also eligible for assistance.

The organization has been doing this since 2004 and works with all the major pediatric cancer hospitals in the region including MD Anderson, Texas Children's Hospital, Dell Children's, and others. You apply through their website and they work directly with you to figure out what help you need most. It's a faith based ministry but they help any family that qualifies regardless of background.
