Mississippi Medicaid covers healthcare costs for eligible children with cancer and their families. They pay for cancer treatments, hospital stays, medications, specialist visits, and other medical services that private insurance might not cover or that families can't afford.
You can apply online or visit one of their 30 regional offices across Mississippi. They also run MississippiCAN, the state's children's health insurance program, which provides coverage for kids whose families earn too much for regular Medicaid but still need help with medical costs.
The program includes managed care options and covers everything from routine checkups to complex cancer treatments.
