The Stephen T. Marchello Scholarship Foundation provides post-secondary education scholarships specifically for childhood cancer survivors who are graduating from high school in Colorado and Montana. They award scholarships to help survivors pursue their dreams of college or vocational school, easing the financial burden of higher education after their cancer journey.
The foundation was established in memory of Steve Marchello, who passed away from Ewing's Sarcoma in 1999. One of his final wishes was to create scholarships for childhood cancer survivors, continuing his "Legacy of Hope" by investing in the educational futures of young adults who have overcome cancer.
