Ronald McDonald House Denver provides free temporary housing for families whose children are receiving medical treatment at nearby hospitals. They operate two houses - one in Denver and one in Aurora - giving families a supportive home-away-from-home environment during their child's treatment.
The houses offer private bedrooms, shared kitchens, laundry facilities, and common areas where families can connect with others going through similar experiences. They also provide meals seven nights a week through volunteer groups, taking one burden off parents' shoulders so they can focus on their child's care. Families can stay as long as their child needs treatment, whether that's days, weeks, or months.
