This scholarship helps high school graduates in Texas who are childhood cancer survivors, siblings of cancer warriors, or siblings of children who lost their battle with cancer. Students must have received treatment or had a sibling treated for cancer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The scholarship is awarded annually in May to graduating seniors to help them pursue their educational goals.
The scholarship honors the friendship between two young cancer warriors, Mathias Utley and Chloe Brown, celebrating the special bonds formed during the childhood cancer journey. Applications are available online and the foundation has been awarding scholarships since 2018, helping cancer-affected families access higher education opportunities.
