This scholarship program gives childhood cancer survivors up to $25,000 each year for college expenses. They award 50 scholarships annually to survivors under 25 who were diagnosed before age 18. You can apply if your child is a survivor who's been accepted to any college, university, or trade school for fall enrollment.
The program has awarded over $2.7 million to 257 survivors since 2008, making it one of the largest scholarship programs specifically for childhood cancer survivors. Applications are due March 31st each year and can be submitted by email or mail. Recipients are notified in early July, giving families time to plan for the upcoming school year.
This scholarship recognizes the incredible strength survivors have shown and helps them pursue their educational dreams after beating cancer. Whether your survivor wants to attend a four-year university, community college, or vocational program, this funding can make their goals possible.
