Camp Aldersgate provides specialized summer and weekend camp experiences for children with special needs, including cancer survivors and kids with other chronic illnesses. Your child gets to experience normal camp activities like swimming, archery, canoeing, ziplines, and nature exploration in a completely safe, barrier-free environment designed for their unique needs.
The camp has been serving kids since 1947 and is accredited by the American Camp Association. They create an environment where children with medical challenges can build friendships, gain independence, and just be kids. Registration opens at different times throughout the year for their various camp sessions, and they work to make programs accessible regardless of families' financial situations.
