Joshua's Camp Foundation provides a sanctuary for families navigating the complexities of childhood cancer. Founded in honor of Joshua Holm, who wished for a place where families could simply be families again, the organization hosts free four day retreats in October and April. These retreats offer a safe and uplifting environment for rest and connection.
Their programming has grown to include the Family Reunion Camp and the Guiding Star Program to maintain long term community bonds among families. The foundation takes a holistic approach to support by addressing the needs of every family member. This includes Living Lakken’s Legacy programming for young adults and post secondary scholarships for survivors and siblings.
Their expanded services offer direct family relief for essential needs, mental health resources, and "My Perfect Day" wishes. By focusing on the voices of siblings and parents as much as the child in treatment, the foundation ensures the entire family unit remains resilient and connected.
