If your child is receiving cancer treatment at ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina, this Hope Lodge gives your family a completely free place to stay just steps from the hospital. The American Cancer Society McConnell-Raab Hope Lodge opened in 2002 and offers 20 private guest rooms American Cancer Society at 930 Wellness Drive, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Every room comes with private bathrooms, and the lodge has fully equipped community kitchens, laundry rooms stocked with supplies, gathering areas, a library, TV and computer access, and outdoor reflection spaces. Chambermaster Volunteers regularly cook meals for guests, and the ACS EMPOWER program offers free on-site activities including yoga, massages, arts and crafts, and educational sessions to help families cope during treatment.
Rooms are available on a first-referred, first-served basis — your child must be in active outpatient cancer treatment, and you must live more than 40 miles from ECU Health to qualify.
