They are a national nonprofit with a network of 1,200 residential cleaning companies that connects cancer patients and their families with local professional cleaners who donate their services completely free of charge. They have the capacity to support patients in all 50 states and Canada.

Here is what your family actually gets: two professional home cleanings, one per month for two months. These are real residential cleaning companies, insured and background-checked. They come to your home and handle it so you do not have to. As one patient put it, cleaning makes a big difference when you are dealing with cancer. You have to have your house cleaned of fungus, dust, germs, and bacteria. You never know when you might get an infection that you cannot fight off.

Any cancer patient qualifies including children. You need to be in active treatment, recovering from cancer surgery, or in hospice care. There is no income requirement and no age restriction so childhood cancer families are fully eligible. A caregiver, nurse, doctor, or family member can also submit the application on behalf of a patient as long as the patient agrees.
