The Toy Foundation operates Toy Chest (formerly The Toy Bank), which collects millions of toys from toy companies and distributes them to thousands of children's charities, NGOs, and children's hospitals nationwide. Since 2003, they've brought comfort to over 35 million children through the power of play, including kids battling cancer and other serious illnesses.
They work with a network of vetted nonprofit organizations and children's hospitals across the country. Member organizations can apply to receive quarterly toy distributions from facilities in New England, Greater New York, Pittsburgh, Appalachia, Greater Chicago, North Texas, and the Pacific Northwest. The donated toys provide emotional support and help create positive experiences for children during the most challenging times in their lives.
