The Holiday Project

The Holiday Project brings holiday celebrations directly to children and families stuck in hospitals during treatment. Their volunteers visit hospitals, nursing homes, and care facilities during Thanksgiving, Chanukah, and other holidays to spend time with patients who might otherwise be alone.

They provide greeting cards, small gifts like stuffed animals and comfort items, and most importantly, personal visits that help families feel less isolated during difficult times. With over 50 years of experience and 8,000 volunteers nationwide, they understand that sometimes the best gift is simply having someone care enough to show up and celebrate with your family when you can't be home for the holidays.

The Holiday Project lleva celebraciones navideñas directamente a niños y familias que están en hospitales durante el tratamiento. Sus voluntarios visitan hospitales, hogares de ancianos e instalaciones de cuidado durante el Día de Acción de Gracias, Janucá y otras festividades para pasar tiempo con pacientes que de otra manera estarían solos.

Proporcionan tarjetas de felicitación, regalos pequeños como animales de peluche y artículos de consuelo, y lo más importante, visitas personales que ayudan a las familias a sentirse menos aisladas durante tiempos difíciles. Con más de 50 años de experiencia y 8,000 voluntarios a nivel nacional, entienden que a veces el mejor regalo es simplemente tener a alguien que se preocupe lo suficiente como para aparecer y celebrar con tu familia cuando no puedes estar en casa para las fiestas.
