The Chicago Bears Collin Wehr Scholarship gives financial assistance to young cancer survivors and siblings of children who died from pediatric cancer. You get a one-time scholarship that pays for tuition, books, and room and board at any accredited university, college, community college, or vocational school. The Bears pay the money directly to your school once you're enrolled.
You're eligible if you're under 23, survived pediatric cancer or are currently in treatment, or if you're a sibling of a child who lost their cancer battle. You must be a U.S. citizen living in Illinois or northwest Indiana, and you need to be accepted to an accredited school. The scholarship honors Collin Wehr, a brave young man who visited the Bears in 2011 and became part of their family before ending his cancer battle in 2013.
