Resource Stats
Gilda's Club Chicago provides free emotional and social support for children, teens, and families affected by cancer. They offer nearly 300 activities including support groups, creative arts, healthy lifestyle programs, educational lectures, and social events. Everything is completely free and designed to complement medical care.
Their teen programs specifically serve ages 13-17 who are dealing with cancer in their lives, whether they have been diagnosed themselves, have a family member with cancer, or are grieving a loss. The club creates a safe space where teens can connect with others who understand what they're going through. All programs welcome people of all cancer types, backgrounds, and beliefs, with some programming available in Spanish.
