Camp Māk-A-Dream offers specialized camps in Montana for children and teens ages 6-18 who have a sibling or parent with cancer, or who have lost a family member to cancer. These cost-free camps provide a safe space where young family members can connect with others facing similar challenges and process their experiences through outdoor activities, support groups, and meaningful connections.
The camp runs Young Siblings Camp for ages 6-12 and Teen Siblings Camp for older youth, all medically supervised with trained volunteers and staff. Kids participate in hiking, campfires, arts activities, and honest conversations with peers who truly understand what it's like to have cancer touch their family. Many campers say it's the first time they've met other kids whose sibling or parent has cancer.
