Camp Sol offers free weekend retreats twice a year for families who have lost a child to help them process grief and connect with other bereaved families. The spring retreat runs in March and the fall retreat happens in October, both held at Camp John Marc's facilities in Texas. These therapeutic camping experiences provide a supportive environment where families can heal together through specialized grief programming and activities designed specifically for bereaved parents and siblings.
The camp serves families with children 18 years old or younger living at home, ensuring age-appropriate support for the whole family unit. All services are completely free, including meals, lodging, and all camp activities. Families don't need to worry about costs during this difficult time and can focus entirely on their healing journey alongside others who truly understand their loss.
