Camp Horizon gives kids with cancer and their siblings a chance to just be kids at summer camp. Your child gets a full week of camp activities like any other kid would experience, but with medical staff on site who understand cancer treatment and can keep them safe.
The camp started in 1983 and added a special week just for siblings in 1997 because they know brothers and sisters need support too. Kids make lifelong friendships with others who truly get what they're going through. Many families say it becomes like a second family where everyone looks out for each other.
Whether your child is currently in treatment or finished with cancer care, they can attend and experience the joy of summer camp without worrying about their medical needs. The friendships and memories they make here often become some of their most treasured experiences.
